Battery reset done. No difference. Strange thing is that it always runs fine when warm. No hesitation, no knocking, no power loss etc. I have made a few test recently with different mixtures; it is only 'pure' e85 that is causing the issues. Mixing just like 10% petrol in it and its all fine. Also strange is that it is not always having bad starts, maybe just 1 of 3, or 1 of 2. Last times I have filled up I have also been very careful about giving it time to adapt. Could my ecu or something be senile/dement, not remembering the fuel from last time?

Thanks Endurance. I bought this car a few month ago so I am not familiar with it yet. First Ford. It has 11000km done. I cleaned the intake valve but it looked ok, and switched the spark plugs (old ones looked normal). Air filter switched as well.
You mentioned oxy sensor and MAF; would it be possible to get some informative reading from a elm327?
Regarding EGR you mean cleaning the valve and possibly inspecting/cleaning the engine block port?

Ok. Now I found it. It was only a fuse.
The initial idling problem is still there though; any suggestions on that? Seems like it starts fine on petrol, but not e85. Though, after 5 secs of running there is no problem what so ever.

Interesting. I have the same error codes. No, or bad continuity between the plugs and main relay. No +12V on the brown pins. But the cable harness looks ok at a first look below the filter box. But my story is a little different: I have been experience bad starting behaviour lately. Engine will not manage to keep itself idling. No error codes. I thought it would actually help pulling engine management fuses before start attempt, so I use to pull F8 and F42. One day I accidentally put the F8 fuse in the empty F11 socket and tried starting the engine. "ENGINE ERROR" it said in the display. I corrected the mistake and started the engine. But now I will not get rid of P0403 and P0443. Thera has also been some ABS warning i think. What have I done? Toasted a relay or something?
