I have an FX radio in my 2008 MK4 and am considering retrofitting the S&C module. However, I have one crucial question.
Is wireless streaming via my iOS Spotify app possible with it (or only via the phone's integrated MP3 player)? If so, does it work well with the hands-free system? Does the music pause when I answer a call?

I think wireless streaming via your iOS Spotify app is possible if you retrofit the S\&C (Sound & Connect) module, but it depends on the exact version you install. Most modules support A2DP Bluetooth streaming, which works with Spotify. Music generally pauses automatically when you receive or answer a call, then resumes afterwards just like you'd expect. Sound quality is decent, although not on par with wired connections. Overall, it's a solid upgrade if you want Bluetooth streaming without changing the factory look. Just be sure to get a compatible module version for full functionality.
