8.5"x18" ET=40 and wheel spacers

    Dear all,

    I'm from Italy and I own a MK4 2010 Mondy facelift version (four doors, TDCi 163 cv) with the Eibach Pro-Kit (30mm lowering) and Tomason TN1 8.5"x18" ET=40 wheels.
    Now I would want to install Eibach Pro Spacers. According to you, which is the maximum width of wheel spacers I can install without scratching between the wheels and arches?
    Probably 10 mm?

    I guess 20 shouldn't be an issue but in the end also the dimensions of the tyre are important

    My summer tire are 255/30/19 on Tomason TN5 so there is either no problem with possible Spacers. It's all written in the document what comes with the Alloys

    The fact is that respect to the original Ford wheels (8"x18" ET=55) the Tomason TN1 I fitted are 8.5"x18" ET=40, so each wheel "comes out" of about 21 mm. I would want to install Eibach Pro Spacers but without risks of scratching between the wheels and arches and without modifications of the internal parts of arches. I don’t know if 20 mm width spacers are too for my Mondy…

    TN5 has also ET40 :) and I has Bilstein B12 on it also with Eibach 30
