Hey thats great.
Wish you that the problem never comes back. Good ride ![]()

Over the Glove box. In that Connector you will find a blue/red and a green/red wire. the blue red is for the FA-Block in the rear box and the other, the green/red is yours for the FB and FC.
Now you must check from the f20 to that connector and then from connector to Rear Box
Here it is. On the right side under the big white Plug. This is it. [PICTURE] -

On my car i think fusebox RB is powerede by F18.
No, thats for the Central Fusebox over the glove box
all d e a d ( test without ignition )
Cable from F20 probably broken. Like I say - you should measure it.
-
Then pull FC 5, 6 and 8 and test the pins in the box. They also get their power over the Cable from F20 Engine Box. If these also have no power, then the cable from the F20 is probably broken and must be measured
-
I mean a third Fuseblock in the Rear Box. like FA and FB
No matter
Somewhere
near the rear fusebox is a connection point at which the cable from the
F20 engine box is splitted. From F20 to Rear Box the cable has over the whole lenghth a green/red colour. -
Do you have a "FC"-Area in your Rear Box?
-
Before you continue do one more thing: Pull the FB 9 and the FB 10. They are not switched over the RB1 Relay but they get current over the same line from F20 Engine. One Pin of each must have 12 V always.
Found a Picture of the Backside of the Rear Fusebox. [HERE]
On the left side you can see on the upside the four wires of RB1. Maybe its helpful. -
Then the Relay ist not the cause.
If no current arrives at relay pin 30 and fuse F20 engine box is OK, then you should measure the whole line between Engine Box F20 and Rear Box Relay for Pass Through
perhaps in a connection/stecker
Maybe.
But a break is also possible at any other point between engine box and rear box. -
87 = Relay Power out 12 V
30 = must have always 12 V85 and 86 = switching current.
Relay RB 1 switches the Power to Fuses FB 1 to FB 8 Rear Box. Why you do not put in a new Relay and see what happens?

the big one makes click when pulled in/out with ignition on. the small one does not

Well, thats good. The left one is relay RB1, which is the one in question to give power to all fuses in this section.
So if it "clicks" it seems(!) to work. But you have to mease power to be shure its closer contacts are okay!
When you pull it out with ignition off, one of its (5?) pins should carry +12V. If you find only one, it's pin 3. You can cross-check by pulling Fuse F20 from engine fusebox.@Go4IT
FINIS 1679545

Vielleicht die Feder? [KLICK]

i did check F17 - F21, all fine..
You mean this Fuses here in the Engine Box? (marked red, hidden under the black cover)
-
there are some big main fuses, not described in the manuals.
Du meinst die hier? (Seitlich unter der schwarzen Abdeckung versteckt, F3 bis F5 und F16 bis F21, rot umrahmt) Doch die stehen drin in der BA.

test lamp on the fusepoles...against mass !
Do it with the place of the F 20 in the Engine Box.
Another Question:
As you can see in the two pictures there are a lot of DTC codes. What are there for additional comments: "DTC available at the time of the request" or "...not available at the time of the request"? -
Possibly somewhere one or more cables defective

put a testlamp on the poles of FB1
What do you mean by that? Did you check the two poles with pulled fuse against mass? Of course, one of them has to offer 12 volts.
tried some other poles near FB1
Does that mean you have FB3, FB4, FB5 and FB7 in the rear Box checked ? However, test them with the method as described (-> "poles with pulled fuse against mass")
-
That's really a lot of error codes.
Some network errors (CAN), hands-free module, GPS errors and more. The BJ 2008 is one of those where electrical problems are unfortunately not uncommon. Has something been done on the car lately, battery renewed or any other electrical work? -
hat gleichzeitig passiert?
habe keine defekte sicherungen gefunden.
Have you checked Fuse Nr. F 20 in the Engine-Fusebox?
