Thanks for the comments.
With all the other stuff I've done to it, IVDC, ACC, memory seats, keyless entry, xenons, etc, etc ... I can't even begin to work it all out. Too scared to even try

That is quite an old post. Several people have done it since. I don't think anyone has gone as far as me though. 2008 Ghia. I like interior wood and light interior colors, so was really unhappy when Ford discontinued Ghia in 2010.
I decided to make my own facelift Ghia.
I fitted new tailgate and LED lights, new rear bumper, new front bumper, new bonnet/hood, had roof aerial hole filled in and painted, new door mirrors with indicators, new upper door chrome trim mouldings and rear quarter lights. New MCA with DAB and camera. New interior trim panels. I wrapped all the new interior panels in "walnut" vinyl to keep the Ghia look. Had to seperate old and new door panels to do this and make all new fixings on my old centre console to fit the new sliding cover and trim. I kept my old chrome outer door handles and also added a chrome strip to the tailgate panel, to give it a more Ghia look. And painted the rear view mirror and rain sensor cover. I kept my old 18" wheels though
Not sure how well this will translate -
I have just started to fit one of these sensors. It was never available for RHD, only LHD. But a bit of information if anyone is interested. The hole for sensor is marked and can be drilled from outside car. Still a bit awkward but much easier than doing it from inside.
[Attach = 24555] [/ attach] Here is cut-out, with locating tab markings. ThisIs on my RHD

Hello. I posted a while ago about my DAB volume being much lower than FM. Someone suggested that it could be an impedance problem with the CD changer. So I unplugged CD changer and volume is perfect. Has anyone else found this? There doesn't appear to be a different CD changer listed. I just wonder what I can do to solve this. I don't want to lose my CD changer
Also I find I get interference on DAB when heated rear screen is switched on. I have the correct DAB grey amplifier and both isolators are in place either side of tailgateThank you Gary

Thank you for the replies. I have just fitted the DAB module to my MCA nx nav and the Ford camera and module. Both work perfectly. Just got me thinking I wonder if BLIS would be supported. I had a play with elm config and turned BLIS on in central configuration. I have facelift convers+ and I can now turn on/off BLIS in menu. Although I get a message saying BLIS malfunction. This is probably just because I have facelifted cluster though and nothing else, (BCM) recognises it.
I fitted MK4.5 power child locks to the rear, along with new switch and new rear door modules. Added the extra wires and enabled it in elm config. It doesnt work though. I don't think my CAN "knows" what it is, so can't switch it on/off -
Hello. Has anyone Looked at fitting BLIS to pre-facelift Mondeo? From a brief look at diagrams, it seems to use a CAN network that is not present in Pre-facelift

You mean like this?

It is only available for Far East/ China. I bought one 2 years ago from a Chinese ebay seller. Part number BS7t-2C418-BA. Cannot be bought in Europe. I can't find a link, but gives you something to search for. Ford dealer is on the box.
Hope that helps you

It maybe is just a UK thing then. I know a few people on Talkford who have fitted non Ford radios have completely lost their beeps because the new radio doesn't support it.
Here are some mentions. Also, like I said, when i disconnected speaker and put in reverse, beeps came briefly from door speaker, before PAM registered a fault

Maybe a UK thing then? or only with touch screen sat nav? Can anyone else comment?

Not on facelift they dont. Sound comes from radio spaeakers. Front beeps through front speakers, rear beeps through rear speakers

Hello friends
Can someone help me please. Apologies once again for posting in English
I have 2008 pre facelift Mondeo with some of motrals upgrades. I have SD card MCA unit with reverse camera and I have latest park assist module. BS7T-15K866-AE. I have never been able to get parking sensor tones to come through radio speakers. But I have just fitted a facelift convers+ with 1507 software level. Now when sensors start to beep the radio volume lowers, (it never did before) but sound still comes from PAM speakers. If I unplug PAM speakers and put in reverse, beeps come through radio speakers for about 1 second, but then LED in park assist switch starts to flash and park assist shuts down. PAM obviously sees a fault because speakers are disconnected.
I can't see any difference in wiring diagrams and don't know what to try. No settings in elm config, apart from "park scan 1 or 3"
No idea what that means but it doesn't make a difference to the sound
Any help appreciated.
Thank you very much

Ok Thank you. I have messaged him and he did at first reply. I will give him a chance to tell me what he can do
-
I can get it updated to 1122 from motral. Alex is very difficult to respond to messages though, and can't say if it would definitely work

Hello. Thank you for your reply.
It seems a bit strange to me that DAB was always an option, though not with the NX, and not with this module. So maybe I do need to change convers+
I used cables from a spare loom. I also split each of the 4 wires as it shows in wiring diagram,so they connect at radio end and at wiring plug behind glovebox. I shielded both lots of cables and earthed the shielding. I can't think why it should be quieter
